The water temps are still in the 50s. That is insane for January. I am also trying to see the warmest temperatures in Jan Feb March and April.

Don't forget that saltwater freezes at nearly four degrees lower than freshwater.

The Point Lookout page says the max temperature in the last 24 hours was 119 degrees. Also, the peak wind gust was 147 mph. I don't think I would trust their 33 degree seawater temperature reading.

Merrick and seaford look about right. Went for a walk yesterday. No way was the water at the town ramp in the 50s

NY Harbor and fire island 49 water temp block island 50. Block was 53 or 54 a week ago.

23 SSW Montauk P 49
25 SE Block IS 50
15 E Barnegat NJ 1756 49

Except for NJ I fish all those areas that is accurate

After this week the temps will drop significantly
