Skipped the watering today here since getting solid reports of rain tomorrow

Between my calibrated eyeball and our Mickey Mouse rain gauge I have determined a SWAG of 5/16" here this morning with hopefully more to come just after dinnertime. Can skip watering the dahlias today anyway.

May have to upgrade the estimate as we just had a pop up shower that showed on MyRadar but not on weather.com radar.
Its ending already so I now will unequivocally state Mickey Mouse is now showing 21/64", just shy of 11/32".
Where is Bowel Movement when we really need him ?

Regardless, I still have only wasted water on my zoysia lawn once this year.

pequa i know about pots,,,,and most of our pots are big azz pots, very hot here for weeks now,,,,,, we water the pots min twice a day,,, could be three at times,,, cant let the veg plants to dry out,,,, wont produce much vegs,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ><)))):>

three times a day ! I gave up growing any veggies at least a couple of years ago and just encouraged my mums, daylilies, liatris, black eyed susan to take over. All my "produce" would have to be harvested in late summer early fall, didn't matter if they were allegedly Early Girl or Big Boy, when everyone else's did, and we couldn't even give them away, lol. Stop and Shop and Shop Rite are just fine with us !

I think we made it to 11/32" as we keep getting these intermittent drizzles. Siphoned 6 gallons of rainwater out of my Ranger's bed for future dahlia pot watering !
