Piece of shit winter continues. Nothing going right.

I will just report what models have and take it for what it’s worth.

They have:
-A strong 15-20 minute snow squall today from 2pm to 4pm. Similar to a summer thunderstorm but with snow

-A clipper type system Friday that can drop 2”-4”

Take it for what it’s worth. We can’t buy snow this year.
 
You know what's irking me the most, all the news programs saying, "It's colder in Chicago/Milwaukee/Minneapolis than in Antarctica!" BFD, it's frigging SUMMER in Antarctica, but of course most folks don't realize that...

If they're supposed to inform us, shouldn't they??? If they want to make that point they should say something like, "Chicago is colder than Fairbanks, Alaska!" which is true since it's 5 °F there right now. And, for the record, it's a "tropical" 22 °F at McMurdo Station in Antarctica right now.
 
Yeah well i don't think something like "Chicago is colder than Fairbanks, Alaska! " would sound so sensational as "It's colder in Chicago/Milwaukee/Minneapolis than in Antarctica!" And that after all is what the media / people want. :)

Ok im headed out to snow blow. Yeah i know, "Off Topic" !!!!!! :p

For people with 1/10 of a brain, the Fairbanks statement would be more sensational, but then again, nobody said the average American was properly "edumacated"...

You got enough to drag out the blower?? I got NOTHING now, all washed away. Will you have "snow or saw-zeech" coming out of the blower?? Get the WD-40 out!!
 
SE Nassau County (Matzohpizza) got zilch. I think it rained around 8PM but my wood deck is dry, truck and car bereft of snow. I do have a 2PM appointment west of here with an orthopedist today for my shoulder so if you want to see a whiteout, look out your windows around then.

Don't despair ag3 ! Hopefully the hurricane season will be just as uneventful !
