I dont think anyone here is going to be out in their small crafts tomorrow and pretty much all winter

With the extinction of winter flounder and hard to achieve length limits on tautog in my area, I don't even bother to fish until mid-May for fluke and weaks off the yak. Early spring has just become a time for garden and yard work, occasional range trips, etc.

Never ending wind. When I posted my end of season fishing report I said I had a horrible season. I still have fish in the freezer from last year. Fishing was excellent. The problem was I didn’t get out. August 31st to Dec 15th I went fishing 5 times. 5 times in 106 days.

I start fishing April 15 when striped bass season opens. 90 days away.

Stripers are scarce here until much later in the month. Used to be I would get a blue or three off the surf....used to be... (I do not fish when there are nothing but schoolies and baby fish (of any species) in the bay or off the beach. I don't harvest fawns either.)

You cant be spot on for Late Jan it hasnt happened yet
