Besides finding EPIRB, we have 4 days of strong east winds… perhaps some type of boat was in trouble… rubber gloves, buckets, etc…

now 74’ humid, east winds…. call to Coast Guard in South Beach Miami… sent a pic over to them, asking for visible markings, “none”… gonna get back to me, but highlighted HANOVER INLET south of me causes a lot of problems for the inexperienced… C22…

I'm sure your know this, but that's only part of an EPIRB, as it's missing its outer orange casing with enclosed flotation. Poor sucker has been through the ringer, hopefully because just accidently went over the side and wasn't used in an emergency...

64 degrees going down to 30 tonight. The storm tomorrow night is mostly rain could see a period of snow and ice but for the city and Long Island its a rain event. Different story for upstate ny looking at 6-12 inches with snowfall rates over an inch an hour
