Severe thunderstorms and tornadoes are a possibility especially late this afternoon and evening Pennsylvania and NJ Have the greatest chance for an isolated tornado but can’t rule out one for queens and Brooklyn. Will post any warnings later on

The National Weather Service in Wakefield has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Southern Accomack County in southeastern Virginia... Northampton County in eastern Virginia... Until 645 PM EDT. At 607 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 11 miles northwest of Nassawadox to near Cape Charles to 9 miles northeast of Grand View, moving east at 55 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and powerlines.

Severe thunderstorms will be near... Cape Charles, Cheriton and Bay View around 610 PM EDT. Exmore, Nassawadox and Willis Wharf around 620 PM EDT. Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include Capeville, Birdsnest, Kiptopeke State Park, Melfa, Jamesville, Silver Beach, Eastville, Wachapreague, Machipongo and Wardtown.

We had a driving drizzle for five minutes here. Not happy as I transplanted a couple of hydrangea and a peony. Along with pool maintenence stuff, uploading photos, putting stuff away etc. etc. , I need a vacation from my vacation.

We had an INTENSE drizzle on and off for a good half hour or so
The wind swirled like crazy and it got pretty scary but overall we are OK here??
