34 going to 18 tonight......................

That's unholy weather down here - although we normally do experience our 1 month of real winter weather usually in February. That is also when we get snow (every now & then),

Spring in about 3 weeks. I do have Hyacinth coming up already, Haven't checked the other "bulb early spring bloomers" yet.

Wait!!! There's another thread for that.

I don't want to seem like an asshat about this, but is there any chance you guys who have moved away or are snowbirds could start a "Florida Weather" thread ? I ask this as I have placed a couple more people in "ignoring" as it seemed half of the email alerts I get of late to both my smart phone and PC are about the wind or weather in Florida. Nothing more annoying than sitting in a blind deer hunting or on my kayak and getting a bunch of beeps or vibes, pulling the phone out of pocket or hatch, and finding out the air temperature a thousand miles away. Most of the Florida guys occasionally make other posts but I have been missing those posts unless I go in and click on "what's new." I do want to stay on the "Weather" thread since AG3 posts there with thoughtful and expert and unusually spot on predictions, so my alternative is to use the "ignoring" feature which I previously had only done for a couple of "far out" guys.

Guess I am stuck with having to see weather a thousand miles away, even though I can look it up if I want elsewhere. I can and have ignored everyone except fellow mods so I am stuck with you, lol.

Hopefully the General won't see your post.
Meanwhile, in the NY area, I just paid the property taxes, hit the library for some tax forms, and hosed off the cars. A beautiful early Feb. day here.
