"We have never had a noreaster here " ??? Where is here ? Friends lost both cars twice from Noreasters in the late 90s and many less severe since, not to mention Hurricane Irene followed by Sandy. Where is "here"?It is we have never had a noreaster here shits about to get real for those of you who are staying
Holy crapif Your near the water yes I will update between 815 and 830 tonight
I wouldHoly crap
Im a 1/4 mile from the water
I better get out now and stay away
This is serious its a NoreasterWhat am I missing ? Is there a joke somewhere? Only some wind gusts MIGHT reach gale force. If you live on the water, sure, but who here lives on the water and doesn't take precautions with life and property ? Snow won't even stick until Tuesday afternoon and even then the temperatures will stay above freezing until late Wednesday when precip is but a memory. What am I missing ?
No but I did stay at a Holiday InnHave you actually checked the forecasted wind speeds, expected storm surge, wave heights and temperatures? We will get rain, some usual coastal flooding, some wind and it will last until Tuesday night, but life threatening only to the utility workers replacing a pole that some jackass who had no business to be on the road plowed into.
