Weather

With all due respect to Wader (400 miles away) and Mojoe (1000 miles away), I have always relied on accuweather.com, windy.com and weather.com (and not B owel M ovement!) Windy.com seems to have the most accurate wind forecasts for me, but its precipitation forecasts are always overly optomistic and we rarely get the rain windy.com displays... Anyone else have a personal fave ?
Are you saying you dont care about the weather where they are?

I care only about weather in my area or the weather where i may be headed. Last September it was italy to Spain. This October it will be SE Canada and Maine. Even when hurricanes approach i only “care” as to its potential impact on Long Island. Why? Is that so wrong? I have no family in FL or VA.

Not at all

IIRC I had also “lobbied” for a separate thread for just Long Island weather. It would allow me to Unwatch the posts about weather nowhere near here.

That said gotta get some laps in b4 thunderstorms start around 1800.

Sites about the NorthEast dont need weather posts about anywhere else

Sooooooo why do we get them at all? Or , at least, put them in some different thread like “weather most of us can ignore “ thread lol.

I could answer why we get them but I would be the bad guy and Im not in the mood to be the bad guy A.T.M

I will readily admit that on days I do not want to clutter up my iphone with incoming emails alerting me to a new post in 'Weather', that I sometimes place a certain two people in "ignore" status and then put them back later. No one, I say again, no one, that is on a fishing website should ever be totally ignorant of forecasted weather in their respective geographic area. ( I do tend to watch now for northerly winds which blow down from, dare I say it, Canada, for reasons well known to you <grin>. )

and I thought being the "General" means you occasionally ARE the "bad guy."
