Bah, HUMBUG!!! Was snowing heavily at 04:14 when I woke up, but the light snow now, along with the warmer ground temps means snowshoes will remain in the basement for at least 10 days per current forecasts...

just had a 20 minute snow squall while I was putting my gear together for a two day Striper Tourney Friday & Saturday. Hope we don't get any surprises like that then. We're sailing 35 miles across the Chesapeake & then north a bit.

Rayno Said to except power outages with this storm especially on Monday. Not sure if he means new England or here. Gusts 50 to 60 mph with this system.

Just received Flood watches for the entire area from Sunday afternoon till late Sunday night 2-4 inches of rain is possible. Also The five boroughs of NYC will not be getting a damaging wind event but long Island will. Gusts over 60 mph are likely especially further east. Surprised the weather service issued this watch two days in advance
