Was on Marlin 5 in Montauk years ago and lost my Wedding Ring on morning trip, went back to same spot I thought I lost it before boarding the afternoon trip and found it.

Married 24 yrs and still have it.

I should look into one of those Silicone thingies.

It was his divorced father's ring so it was darn convenient and his old man didn't care.
