Since I’m limited to Supermarket 6 packs I keep to beers that I have tasted on draft in a bar. Some examples would be Sam Lager, Fat Tire, Goose Island, Stone, Kmombacher etc. Buying a 6 pack and having to dump it because I don’t like would be a waste.

Beer Distributors are too far away without a car, local Delis and Bodegas have only the usual crap. The hunt gives me something to do, Lord knows I have the time.

My good friend in the Bronx has a 7/11 right on the corner with a huge outstanding beer selection.
He said the owner enjoys and indulges so stocks great varieties.
