Welcome to Catch and Cook!

Hi guys, and welcome to the catch and cook board on nyangler!

A little background: I am a classically trained cook, went to culinary school in NYC and worked in a few kitchens in the city. It didn't take long for me to realize that a chef's life pretty much eclipses all other activities, including, and most importantly, fishing!

Nowadays I'm just a home cook, but I have managed to marry my love for cooking and fishing in a small Youtube channel that focuses on local fish, most of which I catch myself. The channel is called Cooking and Fishing (creative, right?), and the link is here: Cooking and Fishing

Of course, all cooking related topics are welcome on this board, and I'll be adding a few conversation starters in the coming days/weeks.

Thanks to George for the opportunity, very excited to watch this forum grow...and thanks to Lep for vouching for me lol!

Haven't seen him use much Bacon.

Lol! I actually deleted the one video I used bacon in...from the early days of cooking and fishing. It was a clams linguine with chunks of pancetta, but the video stretched out to 35 minutes and no one was gonna watch that. I might reshoot it if I ever go clamming, just gotta find the motivation

I don't think the Mojoe sailed a day without bacon, or at least a picture of it. My two cents, (Slab, Salt Cured. The stuff Bodegas' buy. Not that healthy Boars Head Crap!) They'll be drooling all over there keyboards.
