Jan. 6 witnesses push Trump stalwarts back to rabbit hole​

One by one, several of Donald Trump's former top advisers have told a special House committee investigating his role in the Jan. 6 insurrection that they didn't believe his lies about the 2020 election, and that the former president knew he lost to Joe Biden.

But instead of convincing Trump's most stalwart supporters, testimony from former attorney general Bill Barr and Trump's daughter Ivanka about the election and the attack on the U.S. Capitol is prompting many of them to simply reassert their views that the former president was correct in his false claim of victory.

Barr's testimony that Trump was repeatedly told there was no election fraud? He was paid off by a voting machine company, according to one false claim that went viral this week. Ivanka Trump saying she didn't believe Trump either? It's all part of Trump's grand plan to confuse his enemies and save America.

The claims again demonstrate how deeply rooted Trump's false narrative about the election has become.

“It's cognitive dissonance,” said Jennifer Stromer-Galley, a Syracuse University professor who has studied how Trump used social media and advertising to mobilize his base. “If you believe what Trump says, and now Bill Barr and Trump's own daughter are saying these other things, it creates a crack, and people have to fill it."

Most of it disappeared with the politics section and I'm not burning hours on your trolling, but I'll point it out when you do it again.

Plenty of leftists use color related terms to define their subjects. It's only racist if a conservative does it. How was it okay for Ray Nagin to define New Orleans as a "Chocolate" city?

Anyway, you missed the point as usual. Supporting illegal immigration merely exploits the people they claim to champion, but are really only using as cannon fodder for their objectives. They build a false moral ground on race, but their victims are almost inevitably minorities.

OK SO YOU MADE IT UP...

by the way..I personally don't support illegal immigration but I can understand why they want to come in anyway possible. Exploitation in the USA is most likely a better alternative than what they deal with in their own country. A lot of them brown people are here as migrant workers...asylum seekers....and legal entries but they all get lumped into the illegal category by the white power crowd in the GOP.....wait til the midterms, the "CARAVAN" headed toward our border for the last 15 years will be back on FOX news to scare the hell outta them gop voters
 
The immigration problem lies with the corrupt governments south of the border. Not complicated. US has a problem holding them accountable.

How can Mexico have the richest man in the world as its citizen while a large segment of the population lives in extreme poverty?

China launches high-tech aircraft carrier in naval milestone​

BEIJING (AP) — Beijing launched a new-generation aircraft carrier Friday, the first such ship to be both designed and built in China, in a milestone as it seeks to extend the range and power of its navy.

The Type 003 carrier christened Fujian left its drydock at a shipyard outside Shanghai in the morning and tied up at a nearby pier, state media reports said.

State broadcaster CCTV showed assembled navy personnel standing beneath the massive ship as water jets sprayed over its deck, multi-colored streamers flew and colorful smoke was released.

Equipped with the latest weaponry and aircraft-launch technology, the Type 003 ship’s capabilities are thought to rival those of Western carriers, as Beijing seeks to turn its navy, already the world’s largest, into a multi-carrier force.

Looks like our Sustainable Energy program here in Westchester has been paused , LMAO. This is my Dad's acct.
I think it means all the power suppliers are co-mingled in the supply lines so they can't pretend at the moment that they aren't.
