Whats going on in the World

Well I wouldn't say Naperville is very affluent. Don't get me wrong, the average household has no problem supersizing that next Mikey D's run, it's certainly not one of Chicago's upper crust burbs.

When I just scanned the link and saw wealthy Chicago Suburb my mind immediately wandered to Lake Forest, Glencoe, Kenilworth, and Winnetka. If anyone of those took in migrants, all hell would have broken loose!!!

Data is always better than conjecture, so here you go:
The average Naperville home value is $525,236.
The average Lake Forest home value is $998,257.

I am still using these.

Here's my go to, truly liquid napalm. An earlier iteration, w/o ghost peppers was called "Fire in the Hole", which was exactly what happened the next morning.

Anyone with over $600 now is considered affluent.

A lot of people missed last year’s stealthy cuts to Medicare Advantage. And for good reason. The government worked hard to keep the cuts on the down low.

Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg’s former employer, McKinsey, calculated the changes as amounting to a "1.12% effective MA rate decrease." This sly cut was accomplished via a make-your-eyes-glaze-over round of bureaucratic decision-making, amounting to the first post-ObamaCare cuts, yet sold as "reform."

Another great hoax. And the vote remains the same. Stupidity.

Instead of having the intended beneficial impact on the environment, the reusable bag ban has actually backfired, data reported in the study show. Plastic consumption in the state has nearly tripled, with New Jerseyans previously consuming 53 million pounds of plastic before the ban, compared to 151 million pounds following the ban, FCR researchers reported.

To those less fortunate, that is affluent. Especially when they have to pay for other's mistakes.
