Donald Trump is expected to be named Time magazine’s “Person of the Year” — and to celebrate the unveiling of the cover, the president-elect will ring the opening bell of the New York Stock Exchange on Thursday morning, according to three people familiar with the plans granted anonymity because they were not authorized to divulge the plans.

BREAKING: President Biden drops a bomb on MAGA world by announcing that he will veto a formerly bipartisan bill that would add 63 permanent judgeships because Donald Trump would now be the one to fill 22 of the seats.
You have to fight fire with fire...
Biden promised to veto the bill which has already passed in the Senate and is set to be voted on by the Republican-controlled House this week.
The bill was designed to add judgeships to help with the backlog at federal courthouses across the country. However, if the choice is between having too few judges or having 22 new MAGA ones, it's better to not have the judges at all.
"Under this legislation, we all promised to give the next three unknown presidents a certain number of judges," said Congressman Jerry Nadler. "Because no one can tell the future we were all at an equal disadvantage, but for this deal to work, the bill had to be passed before Election Day."
It's encouraging to see Democrats strategically wielding power like this. Joe Biden has a responsibility to protect the American people from Donald Trump as best he can.

Rising prices of eggs and milk were a major voting issue for many Americans in November's election, and Donald Trump vowed to bring them down on the campaign trail.

But now, the president-elect is toning down the rhetoric on his promise to make groceries cheaper.

In a new interview published by Time magazine Thursday, Trump said that one of the biggest things Democrats and his opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris, didn't understand about the American people is that "they want to be able to buy groceries at a reasonable price and not have to turn off their heat in order to buy two apples."

But when asked if he'd be able to bring grocery costs down once in office, Trump admitted that while he was optimistic, "It's hard to bring things down once they're up. You know, it's very hard." He said that even if prices on the shelves didn't fall, he didn't think it would mark his presidency as a failure.

No shit Sherlock!
Presidents have very little to no control over prices.

Trump ‘can’t guarantee’ Americans won’t pay more if tariffs enacted

I could have told ya that. Of course they will.

this is hysterical.................

Hasn't even taken office yet & already he's making excuses.

From the same people that will tell you the president doesn't control the price of gas. When that president is a leftist and the price of gas skyrockets.
