Absolute brilliance. Putting fake news on notice.

"Ruthless" podcast co-host John Ashbrook made a big splash at Friday's White House press briefing as a member of the "new media" the Trump administration has welcomed, to the chagrin of some reporters.

She then rolled out the red carpet for Ashbook to ask the first question of the day from the new media seat. He took the opportunity to ask if the legacy media is "out of touch" with the American people.

"In your first briefing, the media went after this administration for deporting illegal immigrants they claimed were not criminals," Ashbrook began. "The question is, do you think they're out of touch with Americans demanding action on our border crisis?"

"The media out of ouch?" Leavitt responded with a smile. "I think that media is certainly is out of touch and I think that's proven by a number of things, John."

"I've interacted with a lot of these same reporters as a press secretary back in the day. So, when I walked into the room, I saw a lot of eye rolls and a lot of smirks and that is exactly what I was hoping for, Will," Ashbrook told Fox News' Will Cain.

"When Elon Musk declared ‘you are the media now,’ the Ruthless Podcast took it to heart. It was a stroke of genius by this White House to incorporate more voices in the briefing room," Ashbrook told Fox News Digital. "Yet another way President Trump is keeping his promise to change Washington, and a huge opportunity for we the people to have a voice in our government."

Press conferences will now be "must watch" each day. Finally a breath of fresh air.

Trump Officials Release Water in California That Experts Say Will Serve Little Use

Local officials and experts said the water the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers began sending downstream on Friday could have been helpful to farmers later this year. President Trump, in an apparent reference to the move, called it a “victory.”

Trump administration officials began releasing significant amounts of water from two dams in California’s Central Valley on Friday in a move that seemed intended to make a political point as President Trump continued to falsely blame the Los Angeles wildfires on water policies in the Democratic-run state.

The releases, as ordered, have sent water toward low-lying land in the Central Valley, and none of it will reach Southern California, water experts said. Nonetheless, President Trump said on Friday that the same action would have prevented the Los Angeles wildfires on the other side of mountain ranges over which that water has no way of traveling.

“Photo of beautiful water flow that I just opened in California,” President Trump posted on Friday on social media in an apparent reference to the dam releases. “Everybody should be happy about this long fought Victory! I only wish they listened to me six years ago — There would have been no fire!”

Experts expressed dismay on Friday that releasing so much water now served little use for farmers, who typically have higher irrigation needs in the spring and summer months when agricultural fields are abundant.

A 2nd U.S. judge says Trump administration must pause its federal spending freeze

A judge with the U.S. District Court for the District of Rhode Island has issued a temporary restraining order blocking the Trump administration's efforts to freeze payments for grants and other programs.

The Friday ruling stems from a lawsuit filed earlier this week by Democratic attorneys general in 22 states and the District of Columbia. It is separate from a lawsuit filed by Democracy Forward and other non-profit groups that resulted in a separate federal judge's decision to temporarily block the plan as originally detailed in a memo by the Office of Management and Budget. The White House later rescinded that OMB memo, but stated that its review of federal funding remained in effect.
Judge John J. McConnell, Jr. who issued the Friday order, noted that he came to his conclusion after reviewing statements by the Trump administration in response to the widespread confusion sparked by the OMB memo. The judge's review included a post on X issued by White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt issued after the OMB memo was rescinded. As the judge noted, the post said that the president's executive orders on federal funding "remain in full force and effect and will be rigorously implemented."

For now, the order blocks any suspension of federal dollars to the 22 states that were party to the suit — as well as the District of Columbia.

In issuing the order, the court stated: "During the pendency of the Temporary Restraining Order, Defendants shall not pause, freeze, impede, block, cancel, or terminate Defendants' compliance with awards and obligations to provide federal financial assistance to the States, and Defendants shall not impede the States' access to such awards and obligations, except on the basis of the applicable authorizing statutes, regulations, and terms."

New York's Attorney General Letitia James, who is among those leading the suit, believes the temporary restraining order extends beyond the January 28 administrative stay as well as the rescinded OMB memo and is directed at President Trump's actions that have called for a pause in federal funding.
"I led a coalition of attorneys general in suing to stop this cruel policy, and today we won a court order to stop it. The President cannot unilaterally halt congressional spending commitments. I will continue to fight against these illegal cuts and protect essential services that New Yorkers and millions of Americans across the country depend on," James said in a statement released Friday.

Trump Moves to Invalidate Recent Labor Agreements With Federal Workers

The order is aimed at “last-minute, lame-duck” agreements signed by the Biden administration, a White House memo says.

Nothing we did not know. Disgusting that it was hidden from the American people. No wonder the new administration is absolutely eradicating all the folks who lied, cheated, and stole from the American people.

I guess no pardon???? :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Time to f$ck his world up! Way too long destroying this country.
I know I may have mentioned it before. So when he ran and won again I looked up his district wondering what population could be voting for him. I thought he was being voted in by the Jewish pop and that’s not entirely true (ghetto). Then looked up his office address being Brooklyn is soo safe, “Melville” the fuck is on Pinelawn Rd (dejavu of Hillary) right next door to the FBI office. That’s what 30 miles from his district. Talking about being in bed together and living the mean streets of Melville SMH.
