By the way, when the Joint Chiefs of Staff are asked about what are the biggest threats facing our nation, climate change ranks right up there at the top of their lists.

I'm not saying it doesn't exist. But the hysteria that's been surrounding it for approaching half a century now, with the doomsday scenarios that haven't even come remotely close to being accurate, aren't convincing at all. And the more they scream and the less that happens the less credibility they have.

Particularly in light of the proposed "solutions" that will have little or no positive impact, and in many cases are having a significant negative impact on the environment. Not to mention how unaffordable and crippling to our economy and competitiveness on the global stage they are.

The way this is being handled is nothing but a big corporate and government cash-grab and as usual the middle class is going to foot the bill.

While we're at it, one of the hallmarks of TDS is blaming the president for everything, even if there's a different, reasonable explanation. Gates is far more likely to be backing off of the climate change bandwagon because AI is going to require tremendous amounts of energy and he'd be much more on that bandwagon than the doomsday one.
