Well good for that kid!!! He won't be doing that again I bet. Our system has spoken....that's good enough for me.....but when our system works against some people they are not keen to accept the verdicts...findings...elections etc!!!

You are correct!! And I agree with you on that point. Along with the feeling that rioters and looters should not have been there. But he was, and they were, and something horrible happened. But the case was self defense, and rightfully so.

The bottom line is the fact that there were rioters & looters there in the 1st place is terrible
The fact that a 17 yr old was there with an AR and and killed 2 people is terrible

It all sucks and we are so screwed if this is what we can expect to see again moving forward

Hopefully after my posting the not guilty verdict, all of you saw my sarcasm re: "let the rioting begin."
Anyway, been doing some research and saw that Rittenhouse's father Mike, seemingly a "piece of work", lives in Kenosha. Kyle was visiting a friend in Kenosha and the two decided they would go to town to help the businesses protect themselves from the rioters.

I seriously doubt he ever thought he would have to shoot anyone, just probably playing big shot with a gun. That created the confrontation leading to the shooting deaths, something he will have to live with, justified or not. Prison would not have helped him. I wish that kid well, he's gonna need it.
