POKROVSK, Ukraine (AP) — European leaders blasted Russia's decision to cut natural gas shipments to Poland and Bulgaria as “blackmail,” saying the cutoff and the Kremlin's warning that it might cease shipments to other countries is a failed attempt to divide the West over its support for Ukraine.

Europe, like the rest of the world, needs to get their heads out of their arses. The status quo will only make matters worse.....

Talk about it!! We had 2 vacations booked, paid for, and rebooked multiple times due to COVID. When this spring's trip to Japan was cancelled we were going to cash out because it seemed that the company didn't have any availability in Spring 2023. However, the agent said they usually keep a few open reservations off line and he'd check on it and found one so we stayed all in.

Damn good thing, if I were to book that vacation now it would cost > 50% more than what we paid, not even counting all the incentives we had when originally booking it which we wouldn't have been refunded.
