Your first line is correct and the prosecutor could not get insurrection (and did not even start with that charge) because it did not happen. You can call it what you like, but insurrection is the wrong word.

Everyone I know got twisted charges but basically if you past the barricade's which were mostly opened by the Capital police you got a trespassing charge but it’s not worded quite like that “Obstructing a federal proceeding”. If you walked in the wide open doors to the Capital and walked back out 🤷‍♂️ there still waiting to be sentenced two years after the first fed court date. If you burned a BLM flag and spent four months in jail for it and was home a 1,000 miles away, you got 20 years. If you were one of the FBI plants like Ray Epps and incited peeps to go go go in. You got nothing. If you were a racist black cop and killed a unarmed white women that a swat team stepped aside of and was standing behind. You got a promotion and a couple of bonuses adding to almost $100,000.00.
Not sure what kind of bonus the black female cop that beat to death the unconscious women in the tunnel as they are still putting that case together.
Nick Ohs got 4 years for going in. He was the founding member for the Hawaii proud boys chapter. The prosecutor kept carrying on about White Supremest bs so he had his black wife and adopted Asian kids come to court.

It’s all liberal CNN smoke and mirrors.

Little man. If it was an insurrection and they were armed you’d be living in Canada already.

Now explain where all those votes were this time around that came out of thin air while a dementia ridden plant hid in his basement. Explain how without due process you can change election laws a month before a presidential election.

How do the dead vote? This has been an issue in blue districts for some time.

His presidential campaign hammered home the pledge that he would lower grocery prices. He convinced millions of voters that he was telling the truth. After the election, he admitted that he could not lower grocery prices. Was that a major campaign promise reneged on, or was it a lie to begin with?
Trump promised to deport millions of undocumented immigrants but caved to Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy, who tout the benefits of foreign workers. Trump does not have a clue about how to facilitate the deportation of so many people. He is clueless about the impact mass deportation would have on the agricultural, construction and hospitality industries, or its impact on raising prices.
Now that Americans are starting to realize that they have been swindled, it’s time for Trump to switch the emphasis to the ridiculous policy of American imperialism. As long as people focus on these plans to annex territories such as Greenland, Canada or the Panama Canal, Trump’s campaign promises are forgotten and the swindle will be complete.
And he hasn’t even been sworn in yet.
At least the swindled voters will have four years to reflect on how they’ve been duped.

But, after an amateur botanist hiking through the park during the work saw the harm done to some of the park’s Braunton’s milkvetch — a flowered shrub with only a few thousand specimens remaining in the wild — and complained, the project was completely halted, Courthouse News Service reported.

Instead of fire-hardening the park, the city — which the state said had undertaken the work without proper permitting — ended up paying $2 million in fines and was ordered by the California Coastal Commission to reverse the whole project and replant the rare herb.

That work saved about 200 Braunton’s milkvetch plants — almost all of which have now likely been torched in the wildfires that consumed Topanga Canyon, along with nearly 24,000 acres of some of LA’s most sought-after real estate.

The good news for the milkvetch plant is that they usually need wildfire to sprout — meaning dormant seeds now have a massive new habitat for a new crop of the rare shrub.

Wildfire-ravaged California should not receive a blank check from the federal government for emergency aid, House Speaker Mike Johnson declared Monday.

“I think we’ve got to have a serious conversation about that,” Johnson (R-La.) told reporters as the House returned to work following a three-day weekend.

“Obviously, there has been water resource mismanagement. Forest management mistakes — all sorts of problems. And it does come down to leadership,” the speaker explained.

“It appears to us that state and local leaders were derelict in their duty in many respects. So that’s something that has to be factored in. I think there should probably be conditions on that aid. That’s my personal view. I haven’t seen what the consensus is.”
