Whats going on in the World

One Democrat, moderate Jared Golden of Maine, who represents a district carried by Trump the past three presidential elections, voted for the Republican measure.

Finally a single democrat in Maine with a brain........Maine with a brain. :ROFLMAO:

New data collected by the state of Florida shows that illegal immigrants cost the Sunshine State's healthcare system nearly $660 million in 2024.

The data for 2024 showed a total of 67,700 emergency room visits were made by patients who illegally entered the country, leading to roughly $76.6 million in Medicaid payments for their emergency care.

We already know this.

FIRST ON FOX: A study in the crucial swing state of Wisconsin runs contrary to the popular claim of many on the political left and concludes that voter ID laws have not suppressed the vote in the state.

"The study finds no statistically significant negative impact of Wisconsin’s voter ID law on overall voter turnout," the new study from the Wisconsin Institute for Law & Liberty (WILL) concludes.

"In fact, turnout has slightly increased since the law’s implementation, challenging claims that voter ID requirements lead to widespread disenfranchisement."

So is Trump about to trigger a recession in the world's largest economy?

Markets fall and recession risks rise

In the US, a recession is defined as a prolonged and widespread decline in economic activity typically characterised by a jump in unemployment and fall in incomes.

A JP Morgan report put the chance of recession at 40%, up from 30% at the start of the year, warning that US policy was "tilting away from growth", while Mark Zandi, chief economist at Moody's Analytics, upped the odds from 15% to 35%, citing tariffs.

The forecasts came as the S&P 500, which tracks 500 of the biggest companies in the US sank sharply. It has now fallen to its lowest level since September in a sign of fears about the future.

The judges, John C. Nivison, John A. Woodcock, Lance E. Walker, Karen F. Wolf, Stacey D. Neumann and Nancy Torresen, signed recusal orders on Tuesday, shortly after the case was initially filed. No reason was provided for the judges' recusal. The case has since been referred to the District of Rhode Island, per multiple reports.

How can all the judges from the same state behave like that????

Rhode Island??

Just get a federal judge to come up from Florida and straighten this sh$t out once and for all.

"Our people look at this and say, 'S---, we've got like maybe $5 billion that we're short if something happens.' We'll go to the Department of Insurance and say, 'We're overexposed here, you have to let us catch up our [rates].'… He'll say 'Nah.' And we'll say, 'OK, then we are going to cancel these policies,'" Kirkpatrick said.

He also said "there never should be houses built in the first place" in areas like the Pacific Palisades because of the fire risk, saying that residents want "natural areas around them for the ego" but that the area is a "f---ing desert, and so it dries out and it's a tinderbox."

The order, signed by President Donald Trump last week, sought to penalize Perkins Coie, which has long represented Democratic-linked causes and candidates, including Trump's former opponent, Hillary Clinton, in the 2016 presidential election.

The firm also played a role in hiring Fusion GPS, an opposition research firm that commissioned the so-called "Steele Dossier" and published it shortly before the 2016 election.

Just get a judge from Florida. These are all democrat hacks!

Keep at it Pam!!!

"We have uncovered that the previous administration… was cooking the books on ICE data," acting ICE Director Todd Lyons told reporters. "They were purposely misleading the American people by categorizing individuals processed and released into the interior of the United States as ICE arrests."

"A comprehensive review was done internally here with ICE. We found tens of thousands of cases that were recorded as arrests when, in fact, these instances were illegal aliens that were simply processed and released into the American communities," he said.
