Very interesting. Obviously a hole that needs to be filled. How else can you ensure a true and accurate election without proof of citizenship? Makes this a no brainer.

Agree on the idea. However folks need to read the Federalist Papers to understand how the Constitution evolved, leaving many responsibilities to the states to keep Jefferson et al. happy.

For those of you who used 23 & ME, you should really go and have your data erased because of the uncertainties of their Chapter 11 filing.

Personally, I’ve refused any of these DNA test services. Your sequence is probably the only thing you can keep to yourself if you don’t get arrested. If you’re an Ancestry subscriber, also purge your data there.

In Virginia they have been doing this since before I moved here. I had to provide Proof of Citizenship in order to register to vote. They wanted either a Bith Certificate or Passport. I sent in a copy of my Passport. In return I got a Voter Registration Card. I have to show this each time I vote.
