ya know D. I remember as a 10 year old in bensonhurst, the Italian fish mongers had these big round fish wit a center bone onda counter, they were big, didn’t know what they were then, now I do…. Anyway, today’s harvest of swordfish are not the same giants of years ago, I think… cellfish…

thwy also had baccala soaking wit water trickling in metal sinks… didn’t know what they were either… they had live garden snails too in wicker baskets crawling about… cellfish…

Pulled out some fluke from the freezer, baked it with a mix of breadcrumbs, parmesan, S&P, lemon zest (forgot the fresh garlic ?) . Jenn then made some street corn and spinach.
