Dinner with the family, minus my daughter as she had too much going on to come home from school. My son went to this restaurant with his girlfriend a couple weeks ago and said it was a "must".
So, after work we took a ride out to Centro Trattoria & Bar in Hampton Bays.
He was correct in his observation. Started with their grilled octopus. Finally found a chef who perfected it.
Dinner was cavatelli carbonara. Notice the egg yolk in the middle of the dish. Wife had a shrimp pasta dish with a garlic cream sauce. Finished with a Mexican Coffee. Other dishes at the table were seafood dishes, rather self explanatory. No pictures of dessert, but they were excellent. We will be back.

Special occasion! Not everyday. Bill was, yeah, the bill!

But...........the food was superb!

Back to reality. Tonight was flank steak and cream spinach along with a giant baked potato, LOL. My son's girlfriend wanted seafood, so lobster tail was hers! No pictures of that. How did that happen? I am still in the trailer as the work on the "main house" continues LOL. So, three bins along with a cabinet or two to find the steak ingredients. PIA. Soon all wil be good according to the wife.
