Longcast are you a chef or a big foodie? The food you post looks delicious and the presentation is always spot on! Geez now I’m hungry!
Thank you for the kind comments. I have restaurant experience while in high school, college, and in the earlier parts of my career. It paid for school and actually was the source of my first home down payment. I worked the pantry, assisted the chef with meat and seafood breakdown, and assisted in the cooking process along the "line". I prepared food tableside for customers, but most of the recipes in the sauces etc. came from the kitchen. I would put together and present at the table. But did cook meat at the table and prepared salads at the table. Caesar salad with the egg yolk, from scratch. It either came out creamy or oily looking. Took some talent. ;)
So not a chef, more of a foodie. We completed the home renovation and the kitchen came out awesome. Places for all the dishes, bowls, etc that had been hiding. I enjoy the presentation side of food. It needs to look AND taste good!

But I really started to not feel well before I got to plate it for the family. They had to serve themselves I went to bed.
