When Poseidon gives you "Oysterzillas" to pick up as you please, you try to figure out how many you can fit in your 11 x 15.5" baking pan.

The answer is 8, just barely...

And then what do you do with them? At Chez Roccus, we do butter, garlic, green peppercorns, flavored breadcrumbs and Panko crumbs. YUM!!

Your own recipe?
Yup, and being Italian-American, I don't have a clue as how to write it down other than:
  1. Open a bunch of big azz oysters, a baking dish full, drain liquid, preheat oven to 450°F

  2. Get a softened stick of good, non-salted butter.

  3. Run 4 or so big azz cloves of garlic through a garlic press

  4. Smash up a tablespoon of green pepper corns in a mortar and pestle

  5. Add ingredients above into a mixing bowl and mix well.

  6. Thrown in around 1/2 cup of flavored breadcrumbs, I use Progresso Italian and mix

  7. Add around 1/4 cup of Panko breadcrumbs for crunch and mix. Butter mixture should now be the consistency of grout.

  8. Add a few TBS of minced Italian Parsley (didn't have any last night) and mix

  9. Dollop the butter mixture over each oyster and bake at 450°F until breadcrumbs are toasted, around 20 min
