I heard the same thing. I used to go there a bunch years ago. Always a decent meal. Even went for lunch in Islip regularly. As I think about it, can’t remember why it fell out of favor with us

Gnocchi Bolognese; pretty good but the sauce was somewhat heavy and a bit sweet for my taste. Also his prices are getting up there a bit.

Romaine lettuce, tomato, onion and blue cheese crumbles. Olive oil, balsamic glaze, salt and pepper.

Pork chop and ribs marinated in Japanese BBQ sauce and grilled. Potatoes in air fryer, truffle oil, truffle salt, grated pecorino romano cheese, pepper. Grilled zucchini.

And that "new to me" sauce. Wow. Awesome heat without "burn" with black truffles.

Spicy chicken sandwich. Double smash burger from Standard Rec in Patchogue.

And walked the strip to Ruta and grabbed a wonderful mezcal and dessert.

Chicken stir fry with fresh garlic,asparagus, orange peppers, snap peas, carrots and cauliflower in a soy sauce/ honey glaze.
Came out really good ??

Yes, our 25th wedding anniversary. We had a great time last night reflecting on where we have been, where we are, and where we are going! We are blessed and very thankful.
