Anyone watching the new iteration of Shogun on FX/Hulu? I'm a real James Clavell fan and this version is much closer to the book and keeps the viewer updated on the complex, yet extraordinarily subtle chess match that the Japanese War Lords are going through.

Don't get me wrong, I thoroughly enjoyed the old, Richard Chamberlain version, very entertaining, and the first taste of the Feudal climate of 17th century Japan that many Americans received. Kind of like Feudal Japan 101 vs Advanced Feudal Japan Graduate Study...
