Anyone else watch "The Luminaries" on Starz that premiered last night ? Hopefully first episode was setting the scene.
(It ran in New Zealand last year, Eva Green (a Bond Girl with Daniel Craig and star of the series "Penny Dreadful" was the only one I recognized, except for maybe that Patel guy.)

found myself watching this last night & realizing how old I am - I remember watching this show when it was on the air

Class Action Park, documentary on the infamous NJ Amusement Park. I caught it on HBO Max but I’m sure it‘s available on the ‘Da Box’ and other portals. A bit long at 90 minutes gut a real eye opener.

Rarely post here, but I was bored this AM and started watching some recorded NOVA episodes, yeah R7 the mad scientist, and I've got to recommend the newest miniseries, "Beyond the Elements" They're episodes 2-4 of Season 48 and are entitled Reactions, Indestructible, and Life. I watched Reactions (S48 E2) this AM and it was excellent, lots of explosions, a hot pepper eating contest, using prosciutto to cut solid steel, how cement is made, and killer snails.

I highly recommend these especially if you have any HS science youngsters at homes, or you're just interested in knowing why eating a habanero sets your brain on fire; I learned the actual physiology involved.

Might be the only reason there are 7.7 billion people on the planet today.

Also how the Alfred P. Murrah federal building got blown up.
