yeah - don't know how DISH & Direct TV claim to be the best - you lose the signal every time:

• it's cloudy
• it's raining
• it's snowing

Called up DISH the 1st time it went out because it was cloudy only to be told:
"Well. Ya know the signal is coming from space - don't you?"
I replied - "ok - but how is it NASA can get back images from some satellite orbiting Mars & you guys lose the signal from a satellite in earth orbit when it's cloudy?"

They didn't really have a reply to that other then to say "Well NASA's got more money."

I do avoid what I perceive as useless technology however. You know. Technology just for the sake of technology. If I can live without it. I do.
