When does the fall run start in your neck of the woods?

In New England, our fall run starts when we get a few days (about 5 or so) in the low 70s. Usually about a week after labor day. I've noticed that lately, it's been a lot less spectacular. We are still catching fish, tonite was a blast, but the run used to be spectacular. Yourself?

Never really noticed a fall "run" up here per se, it's more of an end to the dog days. One local sign for me is fish congregating on the upriver mud flat. It's a normal late August/early September event and it has begun. If things continue to go according to the script, I'll be catching until sometime in the 1st week of October. To me, every October striper is a gift from Poseidon...

Trying to add stability to ones life. I pray to god I catch a fish.

It's monitoring bait, with the mullet, killies. spearing, sandeels, peanuts, herring etc . . . .

A Nor'easter is a storm along the East Coast of North America,
so called because the winds over the coastal area are typically
from the northeast. These storms may occur at any time of year
but are most frequent and most violent between September and April.

What does the fall equinox mean?
Autumnal equinox, two moments in the year when the Sun is exactly above
the Equator and day and night are of equal length; also, either of the two points
in the sky where the ecliptic (the Sun's annual pathway) and the celestial equator intersect.
