The Arctic Circle marker, and when we were well above that, it RAINED???!!!!!

and of course, Lutefisk - NASTY!!!

Did get some dogsledding and aurora sightings in...

Not the best aurora we saw, but one of my better photos. Now that I've been "Aurora Edumucated" I've learned that most times the aurora is a thin, grey, cloud like wisp, and it takes a photo to get the colors. This is such an example. There have been times here in Maine I've been "told" that conditions were perfect for aurora sightings, but have never "seen" one. In the future, I'll always have my camera with me.
