very disappointing in how the game played out. Defense not clearing the ball,3 players standing around watching saying , "you got it, no you got.." leading to the first goal, then goalie not going for the ball on the cross, leading to a header in...then the third goal when he came way out of the net and did who knows what faling to clear the ball.....

Overall a really poor performance, offense didn't get much going either. Its like their heads weren't in the game.

A convenient rationalization for an epic, abysmal, team failure. True champions don’t let BS get into their heads.

As a nation, we’re not into futball just yet. This squad has potential. I just hope that they can clear the fog out of their heads and keep improving.

Olympic soccer is a clown show, a notch or two below US MLS. If you want to watch and appreciate “the beautiful game” catch some of the foreign leagues where the national teams’ studs play yearly.

I agree with that for sure....but...the BS with the player playing or not etc... etc... and the drama around it...probably f'ed them up a little. Not an excuse for poor performance but certainly could have been a mental factor

No doubt that the best team on the field yesterday won. Spain's best player: THE TEAM, they were disciplined and cohesive.

Best Individual Player: Argentina's Martinez, he kept Argentina in the game the entire time...
