True, to each his own. that said, Rip has become a caricature, Beth reminds me of those horrid Puerto Rican soaps I saw while TDY down there, and Costner has been mailing it in for some time. Mo Brings Plenty and some of the villains have shown acting chops. (Josh Holloway, Danny Huston and Neil McDonough come to mind) Jamie needs to die (it would have been better if the bullet had bounced off his father's head and killed him instead.) That said, I will watch it until the end but unlike some shows ending, I won't miss it as much as I could have, had it not "strayed" as Overbored said.

They got away from the ranching stuff. Really like that part of the show along with the scenery.

1883 breaks your heart every time. I don't feel that with Y but great series none the less just different.
