Saves the ranch and land and eliminates the estate tax if they gift the land to the Indian Nation. Beth & Rip + Family could still operate the ranch with a lease back

True. But at least market equities don't get their claws on it. JD's legacy (he never would sell) and the Indians objectives would be met in a situation that had no way out. just sayin'

It seems to be unavoidable that they lose it....at least they can control how and to whom. Caseys wife and son are tribal, so it;s sort of in the family. Yes...they can lease back just like the Oklahoma tribes did with oil companies. The SIOUX and NORTHERN CHEYENNE faced the same dilemma 150 years ago.....things may go full circle. How about donating to the State as a preserve?

Selling the land to the tribe for $1 and leasing it back in perpetuity makes everyone happy except for the state. The tribe can relocate the reservation away from the pipeline.

two hour finale tonight.....then spin offs....then we have 1923 season two eventually. This guy Sheridan can really write his ass off....took two naps today....should be awake
 
I’ll probably end up watching it tomorrow on my break. There’s no way I’m gonna stay up for two hours tonight.
