My son and future daughter-in-law just bought their first puppy a chocolate lab they take delivery on the 20th is a picture of him and his parents they’re gonna name him Scout

Chocolate Labs (& Labs in general) are large, hyper, & strong & remain puppies until they're like 7 years old - lot of work....

Was over at Capt13's place a few months ago. He has two. Black & Chocolate. As Sandspinner & I were talking to him in his driveway his wife came back from walking both of them..

They saw me & Tony & charged forward to greet us. Unfortunatley they ended up dragging "13's" wife across the front lawn.

Literally.................

Funnest thing I've seen in years. Why she didn't just let go of the leashes never came up.

We have had labs in the house since my kids were born. He knows what he’s getting into.

ran into a woman walking one of these in town the other day - it was huge - named Stanley

Asked her if she had any problems when he wanted to take off after something,. She said oh yes.

First time she was powerless to stop him. Dragged her across the street going after a squirrel.
Dog weighed 140 pounds.


Took him for trainning & that solved that....
Very gentle dog when I meet him but Iwouldn't want him coming after me.'
