You can't even begin to imagine how many times I wake up at 03:00 in dread fear that I forgot to tilt up my outboard. Then I find myself running down to the dock in the pouring rain with my Grundens over my jammies only to find that I had in fact tilted the engine up.

How come this panic only occurs at the New or Full Moon, and not at a neap tide when it would have more than enough water at low tide???

Have you driven on the roads lately? You know, with all those licensed drivers? :rolleyes:

Flying passengers is a little more akin to a Captain's License.

There's places for gov't regulation and there's places for not. Don't open the door for them to control you just running your boat around. It won't make you or anyone else a better boater but they can stop you from being a boater.
