480 Gross? I doubt it, more like 480 dressed. Since BFT's > 73" are commercial fish for sale he got that one in under the wire. Another closure in effect tonight at 11:30 PM through November.

Hope he does better than the $2-4 per lb "high end" price this season...

I've met many great fishermen over the years, and Eyeglass Joe has become both a fishing buddy and friend. Fact is he catches fish. It's rare we get a nice sunset shot from Joe - it's always something bleeding!

And while I'm sure his crew want the best price they can get, just look at him in this pic. Mind you Joe has recently returned from fishing in Alaska for 3-months, came home to Long Island, and ran up to the Cape and caught a Giant!

I'm just buttering him up hoping he has some fish for me :)

Great catch for sure, but all the "good stuff" is probably on the way to Japan right now. Hopefully he scooped out some meat from the head before that got tossed into the drink...
