and the needs of the many will always outweigh the needs of the few

what if the “ vaccine” isn’t as effective as they think

The don’t get enough of it out till June , July or later

what if it isn’t effective at all or like the flu shot isn’t effective every year as the stains vary

I’ve got some friends with covid now who’s symptoms are Very different from those other friends had earlier in the year

Ppl going to stay locked down for another year , hiding in the woods or on their kyaks

everyone going to sit back and watch as the kids futures wither and dye , local small business close up and the job market withers

Don’t worry just a few more weeks , months or years the science says it’ll be alright

I guess that is what freedom is all about!!! Be selfish and get others sick!!

Here's a thought. A person does heroin. And they do it everyday in their closet at home. That is their freedom (although illegally obtained), so let's leave that out for this simple thought. They do heroin in their closet. Does it affect me? Again, probably not if they stay in their house. If they OD, well again, I may feel bad, but it does not physically affect me or my family.

So let's get into the mind of one of these festival folks. They refuse "to be conditioned to believe their freedom is selfish." So they head down to Mexico and have a wonderful time. Some are business owners and / or employees. Or maybe provide a service and / or food to maybe hundreds of people. Now they work a few days and feel sick. Hey, I am an adult and know what I am doing. And it spreads. And spreads.

Their irresponsibly and selfishness in the name of "freedom" possibly exposes my family and I with this illness. That is what angers me.
 
I don't know what the story is with the Mexican Festival people. Either they didn't do the proper traveler's forms and are facing a $10,000 fine - or they did all the required testing/quarantining and they still got sick.

Hard to tell what's what these days....
 
Just took a nice madkless stroll through the Patchogue home depot

need a few items and was interested to see if that homedepot was any more concerned than the Brooklyn locations

The story is simple. They went to Mexico, refused to take precautions, and brought it back to NYC. Forms have nothing to do with it. It was all about personal behavior.
 
there is a certain high profile anti mask./anti social distance group coming down with the virus quite often in contrast to the opposite high profile group....this alone lends credence to mask/distance no?

and I am and will remain in the other group. Wonder which group will have more fatalities and lingering physical symptoms and brain fog ( ? ) Once I get vaccinated I really do not give a rat's ass with what the deniers do and how many croak. But so long as they can go to bars and keep their businesses open ( or provide them to their descendants in a will ) I guess they don't care either.
Just went to a doctor's office, a bank, Copaigue Home Depot and never saw a person without a mask. Going to finally use some old gift cards at Red Lobster (for takeout) later. Doubt I see any deniers there either.
