Just finished replacing headlights and air filter, now to the cabin filter and new windshield wipers on the 2500 HD Silverado

Just figured out a 2013 Silverado doesn’t come with a cabin filter ? the spot where it goes is a sealed unit!on newer model’s they made a place to put a cabin filter!!!! A hour of wasted time ?????

It gets harder and harder. Neighbor couldn't get his starter to crank on a Ford F-250 pickup. I suggested we use the old "smack the starter with a hammer" trick. Problem is there's not enough room to smack it with a hammer. Couldn't even manage a light tap...

The Costco in Riverhead has pre cooked Octopus, $18 a pound, & it's pretty good. It can be eaten as is, or we grill it, olive oil & lemon.

just got back from Norfolk - trip was a bust................

Neither Home Depot or Lowes had what I was looking for & I didn't even attempt Costco. There was a line coming out of there that must have stretched for nearly a 100 yards.

Dis homey don't wait on no lines......

However it was a nice day for a 140 mile round trip across the Chesapeake. Got to see a submarine on my way back heading out from Naval Station Norfolk toward the Atlantic as it assed over one of the bridge tunnels.


And then I tried to make up for my disappointment at Costco, Lowes & HD by stopping at the Cape Charles Brewery & picked up some supplies for Christmas.

yeah - I guess if you're not trying to feed a family of four or so - it's doable.....

I'm the same way with Uncle Giuseppe's in Smithtown. Couldn't feed a whole family from there on a regular basis - but it's only me - so what the heck.
