I'm 3 months late, but I just found out St. Croix has discontinued it's Tidemaster line, much to my displeasure. I'm friggin cursed!!! Every time I find a perfect inshore spinning rod for popping Schoolies it gets discontinued, and for me it was the TIS70MHF. Has anyone had any luck with finding vendors with Tidemaster inventory?

Can't believe that St. Croix ended up being the Scrooge in my Christmas Carol...

I’m not big into spinners but I received one custom built by a friend of mine. Paired it with a Penn Clash. Amazing setup. I believe it’s a Rod Geeks #2.

Good news, I was able to score my pair, one from Salt Water Edge and one from Tackle World.

Now that I've calmed down, once things get a bit less crazy from a pandemic perspective, and LL Bean gets this year's inventory of the new Triumphs, I'll bring one of my Tidemasters in and do a side by side of the new Triumph which has the same "On Paper" specs as my Tidemaster. The new Triumphs have gone from their former dark brown blanks to the Tidemaster green so I'm hopeful they're still using the same blank and the only pertinent difference is the fact that the Triumps are made in Mexico and not in Wisconsin.
