Lousy, I lost a lot of foot traffic due to the Pandemic. I had to shorten my hours because it's a ghost town on broadway after 10pm.
The Local street fruit cart keeps extending his stuff illegally and the city won't do anything about it, saying the city is over whelmed due to the Virus, but they had time to come and inspect my store 4 times since Febuary of this year.

Look at that...he is allowed a 4'x6' stand.
I wake up 3am wondering how much longer I can compete with the guy who pays no rent, no utilities, no taxes and gets to do what ever he wants.

The only time they cleaned up their act was when I got John Montone from 1010winns to do a story about them. That lasted a week. Then I got a letter from the cart owner's lawyers telling me to cease harassing his customer.

I sent the letter to the State Attorney Grievance Committee. I never heard from them again.

Sounds like there’s nothing he can do about it then.

In Nov, a lady in the city council told me that they would ask the community officers to go and ask em to clean up the stand.
It's gotten bigger since then.

Maybe I should call John again and see if he would do a follow up piece on them.
