What I find more humorous, sadly, is the thought the the War Powers Production Act can instantly start the flow of vaccine.

This ain't "Widget" manufacture, and needs specialized custom-fabricated equipment in specialized environmentally controlled rooms. The lead times before a new facility can come on line is months to years. The recipe is quite simple, the execution borders on art...

They can’t even distribute what the do get

right nows there’s a lag of at least 20 percent and as high as 65 percent of doses that haven’t been administered and lord knows how many that have been trashed because they expired before being administered

the cluster Fock is at the state level not the federal level feds did their job
States are not

Feds don’t have either the time or man power to set up injection sites all across all the states and what a waste of time and resources that would be as most states already posses the infrastructure to get it done

that said are there rural places that the fed could step in and help out with the needed freezers man power and temporary structures sure
But over all it’s a states responsibility and if your using doses in arms vs available doses the states are failing
