Prepping for one of my least favorite "Melon Man" List Items, cleaning the kitchen exhaust fan. Fortunately I discovered a great time saving trick a few years ago by using the dishwasher to wash the grease shield, fan cover and the fan blades themselves. Turned 3 hours of "hands on time" into less than an hour of hands on, with the rate limiting step for reassembly being the dishwasher cycle time.
