Slow Pitch Jigs

Has anyone used them? I've been looking into getting some and giving them a shot. I noticed that fluke were hitting them in a video. Could be a change from the ole bucktail or chicken rig setup.

slow pitch fast pitch whatever, but this is what I started using for fluke and weaks in the back bay off the yak with 3/4 oz jigs:

Tsunami Slim Wave White Jigging Spinning 6' Medium Rod SWSPS-601-M

it has worked well for me. if I liveline a snapper or peanut I switch over to a conventional and add a rubber core. Never caught a striper that way, just weaks, small blues and fluke. I wonder if I will have to just use circles ?

Never live lined a snapper for fluke or weaks. I've talked about trying it.

While I like the feel of baitcast style reels when using the 3/4oz jigs I went to in 2019, I found I need spinning reels to get the bait down to the bottom (12 to 25 feet where I kayakfish).
