Park Side has always been more that good, haven't been there in over 20yrs. I guess the next time I go is when they move it east of the Riverhead traffic circle. My loss.

Just finished what I think will be my final tree transplantation of 2 white birches, a white pine, and a balsam fir from the "Across The Street 24/7 Nursery".

Finally sitting down with 3 ibuprofens and a Margarita as a reward for finishing up the boat. IF the weather holds tomorrow AM until Noon, I'll launch and get her tied up at home. Now I'm ordering all the replacement parts for things that didn't make it through the winter. Fortunately there's nothing "MISSION CRITICAL" on the list - YET!!

It's alive and immaculate, but I hope to be out fishing this week to soil it real good!!!!

Mission accomplished, wasn't the software, but it was a "loose, pink wire" which I noticed yesterday, but said to myself, "Oh that's that loose pink wire I could never figure out what it did."

As I went through troubleshooting today, I noticed that there should be a separate hot lead for the GPS antenna with a 1 amp fuse. Schlepped down to the boat for like the 20x time today, went down below and there were now TWO loose pink wires hanging, one that was the one I've seen over the years, but the other one had an in-line fuse, and above it was an empty connector on the hot side of the switch panel. It was a FRIGGIN miracle!!! Who'd a thunk it?? Plug something in and it works!!

Two outstanding issues left to fix, new switch on the wash down pump coming later this week, and try to hunt down a replacement plastic clip that holds the fold down, white all around navigation light. That could end up be a yearly Gorilla Duct Tape fix if I can't get a replacement part or I can kluge together something that will work...

Sipping coffee, doing crosswords, reading the AM papers, but more importantly, watching a group of missed friends for the first time in six or so months. Alewives must be running since there's a good 1/2 dozen ospreys circling high in back. Funny how that sight brings a smile to my face.

May stop by the new fish ladder later to see if the alewives are actually running up the river...
