hosting a family gathering tomorrow but it looks like with the floodlights I can put the yard stuff away Saturday night. Getting new doors, window or two, stoop replacements and my garage is packed, don't think I can kayak for 9 days and the driveway will have a dumpster blocking the boat. oh well.

Most seem to be waiting until the last minute. I fueled both vehicles, making extra ice for freezers, charged my drill batteries, but will wait until noon tomorrow for umbrellas, yard ornaments, solar lights, etc etc

Yep and those of us to the east of that are now in the worst north east quadrant of the storm
they also increased the surge projection to 3-5'

What ya gona do with a drill?

in case I need to cover a shattered window with plywood. can't trust my ignorant neighbors to put loose stuff away. I should bring in (no access to garage from house) a couple of lawn/leaf bags, a bow saw and loppers as well but I am waiting until tonight.
