Fresh from a farm out east, chicken and duck breast. I seared the duck a couple minutes too long , hence the burnt skin, but it was still med/rare on the inside. Served with a red grape sauce, mashed taters, mushrooms and onions. It was delicious.

I'm guessing in came from Crescent in Aquebogue which is about the only LI duck farm left.....

used to visit there every couple of months - great selection & as I recall - Long Island Vodka isn't far away from there
