KFA-NY February Indoor Meeting

KFA-NY's February Indoor meeting. Troy Meyerhoeffer will be speaking on Freshwater Kayak Fishing.
Our indoor meetings are free and open to the public.
This is our West Meeting. Held at LEVITTOWN KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS 3581 Jeffries Rd, Levittown, NY 11756 on 2/13/19, 7:00-9ish.
As always Coffee, Cake, Donuts. Maybe a showing of these Pickle Potato Chips (I've still never seen) from the UTZ Guy.

Troy Meyerhoeffer is an avid kayak fisherman and lover of all things outdoors. He grew up fishing Virginia's rivers and farm ponds. His mother taught him to fish for native trout and his father often took him bass fishing and hunting in the Shenandoah region. Some of his fondest childhood memories are of fishing for trout in the early morning hours and having his grandfather fix them for breakfast.
He moved to New York 9 years ago and currently lives in Inwood, with his wife and two children, 5-year old Liam and 3 year old Grace. Troy spends his days taking care of Liam and Grace and takes them fishing and hiking every chance he gets.
When he is not spending time with his family, he likes to unwind in his Wilderness Systems ATAK 140 or Commander 140. You can find him fishing the waters from VA to Maine. His passion for kayak fishing started when his wife got him a kayak. The first day on the water, he realized that he had found his passion and has never looked back. Since then, he finds every opportunity he can to be on the water and keeps the car full of fishing gear, so that he can be off at a moments notice. Troy has been known to pull over when traveling to get in a few casts anytime he sees a particularly interesting body of water. (From Wilderness Systems)
Troy is also a Rep, for Torqueedo. For any interested in High Power electric motors.

For those that can't get enough of us we'll also be at the Freeport - NY Sport Federation Show, Saturday 1/16/19.
If you ever wanted to get into kayak fishing, placid to extreme. Here's you chance to talk to those that do it, about it.

Thanks for the info Rick alas I will be missing the the Feb meeting I have wedding suit shopping and other such wedding stuff planned for that day not quite sure why since the wedding isn't until August but who am I to challenge it,but back to the topic anyone interested in kayak fishing and especially freshwater kayak fishing this is the meeting to go to.The KFA is not just about kayak fishing and the preservation and well being of the striped bass but it runs the gamut of all fishing and other outdoor activities. So if kayak fishing is your thing stop by and check it out.

Have fun with that Rich or Sucks To Be You. Which ever you feel fit.

Just Bumping this.

Troy also took 1st place at Winter Island Mass. Shootout last year with a 46" Striped Bass. Nice when you can beat the locals.

Yeah I believe it will be the latter.I am not the shopping or fitting room kind of person I cant even stand to pick out my own clothes in my closet lol

Should be a good meeting/presentation. I unfortunately can't make it this month.

Well that made the three of us not making it.
Ice dam from that crap Tuesday. Woke up to bathroom ceiling leaking. So started ripping it out for a makeover.
Troy has come aboard so you can pick his brain Tony when you see him.
